I felt so much anticipation about this session. When I first spoke to Ellen about the idea of a portrait session, I could tell immediately she had an incredible bond with her boy Kobe. 

Kobe was a rescue dog that she had adopted and because they had such a connection, it was important to her to have this day with him, but also to capture some beautiful memories of him. 

They were so fun to watch. He was so enamoured of the new surroundings and watching them together, it was obvious her love for him was so strong and their bond unbreakable. 

The final images she chose tell their whole story. His images, so soulful and deep and the natural candid smiles, laughs and genuine friendship fills my heart. 

I know she will love seeing them in print as having something you can touch and hold close to your heart takes on such as different meaning when we live in such a digital era.
