Ok, I won't lie. When I get an inquiry in late Fall (Fall color is gone and we don't have pretty snow yet), I get a little nervous. Backgrounds are not pretty so that time of the year can bring a myriad of weather issues. Simply put, it's just not "pretty"...! But when I get a call from a girl super excited about her new puppy, and first dog ever AND she loves fashion....I'm am on board and super intrigued. I will do what it takes to make it happen for her :)
Puppies change so fast so obviously time is of the essence. Meghna was so excited about her new dog Chutney and wanted to capture this very important time in her life. The two of them together, capturing their special bond, friendship and story. We chatted about ideas, challenges, and so much more. She was open to my ideas and I certainly was open to hers!
When she sent me the outfits she wanted to consider along with the location that I had in mind, I knew despite the time of the year, we'd make this session awesome!
I loved working with both of them and watching how much fun she had with Chutney. I'm obsessed with the stylish photos we captured, but also makes my heart full with the natural interaction photos that we captured as well. Chutney showing off her natural puppy silliness and creating very special memories that she will be able to enjoy for a lifetime.
When Meghna came for her image selection I think we had just as much fun as her actual session day. Her final selections were beautiful and are classic keepsakes. I know she will enjoy them for many years.
One of these images, Chutney chose my glove as her chew toy, but with a face like that, am I going to take it from her when she shows such enjoyment? NOPE! But I do laugh everytime I go to put on my gloves that are half mangled. So worth it! xoxo
Meghna, thank you for choosing and trusting me with your special memories. I loved every minute working with you and your girl! xo
