They are one of a kind, each special in their own way. How can something so small have such a large impact on someones’ life. Meet Finn and Chase and their person Chris. These sweet boys are her life and I can see why. So much personality and we had such a perfect Fall day photographing them!
Chase (on the left) is super outgoing, and Finn (on the right) is a bit more hesitant but with lots of patience, many laughs and crazy antics, we were able to get beautiful shots of them separately and as a group.
This was a gift to Chris from her family and I’m so glad they did this! In her own words: Chase is pretty active for a small dog. Runs, loves fetching and swimming, and will walk for miles. Chase can resource guard if he is feeling insecure. Finn has always been less active. He plays when he wants and will stubbornly refuse if he isn’t interested enough. Finn has a stubborn streak a mile wide but is a lover and cuddler.
They were VERY active (laughing as I write this) and thankfully I recruited one of my seniors to come assist. She was great at dog wrangling (and let me tell you how much work that is on any session – lol).
Although our Fall was a bit drab this year compared to other years, I did stumble across this one very small area as we were heading elsewhere in the park, but it made the perfect backdrop with the gorgeous color and barn behind.
We had a super fun day photographing her boys and she ended up with a beautiful print collection that will look incredible once up on her wall. I can’t wait to see it once it’s up!
Chris, thank you for sharing your boys with me! We had a blast and tons of laughs. I’m so glad you love their images and will have these sweet memories for such a long time!
